I want to say how much I appreciate the personalized care I received at Northpoint. The nurses and aides have treated me like family. They have been fantastic and have genuinely cared for me like family. I will miss my Northpoint Family as I move on with my recovery.
My sister was here for over six months recovering from a broken ankle. She is mostly nonverbal, so a somewhat challenging patient. The Northpoint nursing, medical, therapy, dietary, and housekeeping staff all treated her with compassion, patience, and care. They quickly earned her trust, and she responded well enough to therapy to be able to return to a community residential setting. They were also supportive of me. When I first toured Northpoint, I was really impressed with the way the staff interacted with each other. I could tell then that they operated as a team. My mother spent her last months at a much fancier facility with private rooms, but the care was nowhere as skilled and caring as what my sister received at Northpoint. A big thank you to all of you.
My Mom was here for rehab, but we knew she needed long term care since our Dad passed in April 2019.
Every department stands out; from the Front Desk, Carolyn to Activities Director, Gina and Angela, Social Services, Victoria, and Jane, to the nurses, Jessica, Summer and Debbie, Techs, Nicole, and so many, many more! Everyone at Northpoint has made my sister and I feel so comfortable. Mom thinks of Northpoint as her “apartment.” They and the residents love Mom, and we appreciate all of them. Thank you is small word but we say it from the bottom of our hearts; the whole staff is very caring and it shows!!
Everybody at Northpoint has made my sister and me feel so comfortable. Our mother thinks of NPL as her apartment. The staff and residents love mom, and we appreciate all of them. Every department stands out from the front desk to social services. Thank you is a small word, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The CNAs stood out to me because you get huge with breakfast and dinner and they are supportive! Whatever it’s coffee or illness, they are there for me!
The reason I chose this center is because I have been here before and I enjoyed my experience; most people were friendly!
After investigating online, I found that Northpoint was the best rehab program around. Arielle came and talked to me at the hospital. Erneshia always goes above and beyond, always in a good mood, giving out hugs and kisses.
The facilty goes above and beyond in order to please the residents that live here and will do what’s necessary to make them happy. Our new resident advocate is one of the best people you could ever meet and she goes above and beyond to do everything that she can to put a smile on the residents face.
I want to say a thank you on behalf of the Collins family, and my dear Mother Frances Collins, to the staff of Northpoint Lexington Healthcare Center. As a matter of fact, just a “Thank You” probably isn’t enough. My Mother was a resident of Northpoint for over a year, before her passing on September 9, 2017. My family and I are so grateful to all the nurses, nurses assistants, kitchen staff, maintenance, and all those in administrative positions, and of course Hospice. The care and attention she received will never be forgotten, and we love you all, and Frances Collins loved all of you as well! I will be back from time to time to say hello and visit some of the residents that I became friends with.
Sincerely,
Richard A. Collins
My sister recommended Northpoint because she was here for rehabilitation before. It was a blessing to be here for my therapy and I would recommend this place to everyone! There was a point at the hospital I didn’t know if I was going to make it or not and then I got here and therapy helped me reach every one of my goals. I don’t even have to use a cane anymore! The kitchen gave me extra snacks to get my energy back up and help me gain some weight. The nurses got my medicine to me quickly and the activities department helped me get some supplies from the store so I would feel more at home. I’m so thankful for everyone here!
To all the staff at Northpoint,
I thank every one of you for the love I received during my three months there. I couldn’t raise a toe, turn over in bed, or walk when I came here. Today I will walk out of here with you love, kindness and therapy. I feel I have been given a new life and I plan to make the best of it. Thank you so much and if I never see you again here on this earth, I hope to see each one of you in heaven someday. I will look for you. God bless and keep up the loving work. I will go to my daughter’s for a short while and on to my home shortly.
Deloris Walker spent one month at Northpoint Lexington recovering from a debilitating weakness that had left her in a wheelchair. Ms. Walker was a star pupil and worked very hard with our therapists from Evergreen Rehabilitation to get her strong and ready to return home! Here’s what she had to say:
I enjoyed everyone on staff here. Everyone was very nice to me. All of the Physical Therapy people brought me a long way from where I was before. All the staff helped me out and was very good to me. God Bless you all.
