Northpoint Lexington Healthcare Center has a unit specializing in Alzheimer's and related dementia care and is dedicated to providing the compassionate care your loved one deserves.

Our “Aging in Place” units have been specifically designed to meet the unique and challenging needs of our residents affected by Alzheimer's and related dementias - providing a safe and secure environment for residents and peace of mind for family and caregivers. Everything about the environment is focused on supporting the emotional well-being and independence of each resident, respecting where they are in their journey with Alzheimer's.

Each individual’s journey with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia takes a unique and differing path. Therefore, each person needs an individualized plan of care that addresses their personal interests, their unique life’s history and their cognition and physical abilities. Working together, our team creates a person centered plan of care that embraces our fundamental philosophy - preserving the dignity of each resident - identifying and respecting their lifelong habits, values and patterns of living and incorporating these into a resident specific plan of care that encourages each resident to continue as many of their life's patterns for as long as possible.
